OKIOCAM comes with several buttons on the camera. The gray button works within OKIOCAM applications (Snapshot and Record, Time-Lapse, and Stop Motion) and third-party applications (Google Meet, Zoom, Skype, for example). The gray button adjusts the camera’s focus, white balance, and exposure automatically. All the other buttons are not functional within third-party applications. Users can remap the functions of the other buttons within OKIOCAM applications. These buttons can be mapped to the functions below:
Activate: Launches Snapshot and Recorder
Zoom: Cycles through zoom levels
Snapshot: Take a snapshot
Selfie Mode: Toggles Selfie Mode on and off. Selfie Mode
Go to URL: Opens a pre-inputted URL in Google Chrome
For Windows and Mac Users
In order for the buttons on your OKIOCAM to be functional within the OKIOLABS extensions, OKIOCAM Button Driver needs to be installed. You can find the button driver on the OKIOLABS' website under the download section. While you can still use the OKIOCAM extension without the driver, the buttons on the camera will not function without the driver.
You can download Button Driver HERE.
For Chromebook Users
Chromebook users have the option to install the applications as dedicated apps or as Chrome extensions. All the buttons are functional in the dedicated application, but only the gray button is functional in the Chrome extension.
