Most video recording applications, such as QuickTime Player, Windows Camera, Chrome Camera, only support up to FullHD 1080p (1920x1080) video recording. However, OKIOCAM Snapshot and Recorder allows users to record high-resolution video up to 1920x1440(OKIOCAM S) or 2592×1944(OKIOCAM T).
Below are the instructions on how to take high quality picture/video with OKIOCAM Snapshot and Recorder:
Step 1. Make sure the lighting in the environment is bright enough. Document camera usually has a smaller aperture, which means if there are not enough light sources, the recorded video will be grainy and blurry.
Tips: You can use a desktop lamp or a USB LED light to brighten up the document you're presenting.
Step 2. Plugin your OKIOCAM and launch OKIOCAM Snapshot and Recorder. If you have not yet installed the application, please click the below link:

Step 3. In OKIOCAM Snapshot and Recorder, go to Settings by clicking the gear icon on the top-right corner.
Step 4. Under General Settings > Resolution select your desired resolution. Note that OKIOCAM S supports up to 1920x1440 and OKIOCAM T supports up to 2592x1944.
