OKIOCAM is a 2-in-1 webcam & document camera which works on Windows PC, Mac, and Chromebook.
Windows/Mac/ChromeOS
OKIOCAM fully supports Windows desktop, Windows laptop, Microsoft Surface, iMac, MacBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and Chromebook.
Please note that for MacBook/MacBook Air's later models, you will need a USB-C to USB adapter.
System Compatibility
Windows 7 or later
macOS X 10.12 or later
Chrome OS
Chrome Browser version 65 or later
iPad/Tablet (iOS/Android)
OKIOCAM does not support tablets.
Smartboard/TV/Projector
OKIOCAM cannot be plugged directly into smartboards, TVs, or projectors. You will need to connect your OKIOCAM to your computer, and your computer to the smartboard, TV, or projector. Your computer will need to support some form of video output (HDMI, DisplayPort, DVI, for example) to enable you to use this setup.
Linux
OKIOCAM and the OKIOLABS apps and extensions do not officially support Linux, and we have no plans to support Linux officially. We cannot guarantee that the OKIOLABS apps and extensions will work on Google Chrome running on Linux. Even though this is the case, OKIOCAM should work with most Linux distributions.
However, it is essential to note that if you are using a stripped-down Linux distribution that does not include the USB camera driver, you will have to install it separately so that your computer can recognize OKIOCAM.
